Yeah agreed. I've read about a lot of cases where, especially children, undergo a traumatic experience and, unable to articulate their inner turmoil meaningfully, end up using relentless cruelty (among other things) as an outlet instead. Farnese mirrors that pattern in a really believable way and I'm glad that even her recovery process is documented in such detail too. Retreating to the safety of aggression, lashing out when her ways and beliefs are challenged, and then finally breaking away from her past to learn how to live as a human with a place in the world. (Tl;dr: I also love Berserk lmao.)
